Topsail Beach is a special area for enjoying a wide range of activities.  The beach has many attractions.  The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center is the only facility in North Carolina which cares for sick and injured turtles and is a must-see on the island.  The Topsail Island Museum, "Missiles and More", is a museum that features the history of the island, with artifacts and displays from prehistory to the present.  There is no admission charge to visit the museum.

There are also a large variety of beach shops, restaurants and recreational activities, including rental equipment, miniature golf, and even an arcade.  The south end of the beach features the Jolly Roger Pier, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You can rent or bring your own fishing pole for some of the best fishing around.  Topsail Beach is also complete with its very own Post Office, Police Department, and Fire Department.

Topsail Beach students attend Pender County schools.  There are two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.

The Topsail Beach area has a great climate throughout the year.  It is moderate, with mild winters and summers and broad shoulder seasons.  The cost of living throughout the region and the state make it the ideal place for young professionals seeking to relocate from urban areas, for retirees or for the "early outs", wishing to enjoy a lifestyle change.
